HI FRIENDS! Bet you all thought I forgot about this thing. Since the last time I posted, I went through a whirlwind of stress and anxiety and unhappiness and I definitely didn’t feel like posting when I was feeling so crappy. I’m muuuuch better now but I’ll admit that I’ve been dragging my feet when it comes to getting back into a regular writing schedule. I didn’t know what to write about and I even let myself make the excuse that I forgot the password to this blog. (Nevermind that I could have easily recovered it via “forgot my password”…)

Last year was a hard year for me. I felt directionless and unfulfilled and unhappy even though there wasn’t anything exactly wrong. Not gonna lie, I cried all the time. However, I made strides to change the things I could, and accept the things I couldn’t. And let’s be real, it couldn’t have been all bad. A Guide to Iceland

50675792_UnknownIceland has been at the top of my bucket list for years and I finally checked it off! My boyfriend and I went with another couple for about a week in mid-September and it was such a great trip!!!! Iceland is magical. It is every bit as dreamy and beautiful and picturesque as people say. Pictures really don’t do it justice. There are rainbows EVERYWHERE. It’s honestly like leaving Earth and entering a completely different planet. What’s even more interesting is that the landscape can change so quickly with just 5 minutes of driving. Surreal. Travel Packing Tips | 10 Days in a Carry-On

I just got back from a 10 day trip to London and Iceland (recap to come) and I only brought a carry-on and a personal bag. Honestly, it was a STRUGGLE to fit everything I wanted to bring. Both London and Iceland had cooler rainy weather but I wanted to look cute for the 3 days we were in London and be prepared for the 7 days of outdoorsy adventures in Iceland. I started pulling clothes I wanted to bring into a pile and soon had a baby mountain that was clearly NOT going to fit in a carry-on.
