HI FRIENDS! Bet you all thought I forgot about this thing. Since the last time I posted, I went through a whirlwind of stress and anxiety and unhappiness and I definitely didn’t feel like posting when I was feeling so crappy. I’m muuuuch better now but I’ll admit that I’ve been dragging my feet when it comes to getting back into a regular writing schedule. I didn’t know what to write about and I even let myself make the excuse that I forgot the password to this blog. (Nevermind that I could have easily recovered it via “forgot my password”…)

Last year was a hard year for me. I felt directionless and unfulfilled and unhappy even though there wasn’t anything exactly wrong. Not gonna lie, I cried all the time. However, I made strides to change the things I could, and accept the things I couldn’t. And let’s be real, it couldn’t have been all bad. I figured I’d focus on some of the positives and share a hodgepodge of favorites from 2017.

How I Cleared My Skin

Most people go through bad skin days, and I’m definitely not an exception. I’ve always struggled with acne here and there, but there was a period of time when my skin was so bad that I literally wanted to cry every time I looked in the mirror. I knew I couldn’t continue living that way, so I decided to make my skin health a priority. I made several lifestyle changes that I think truly transformed my skin!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access has already started and the Public Sale opens up July 21 and lasts until August 6! Shopping the sale during early access is exclusive to Nordstrom cardholders, but the sale opens up to everyone during the public sale. Although I don’t personally have a Nordstrom card, I still perused the sale catalog and the beauty exclusives and thought I’d post my personal picks here! *Note: I’m most likely NOT buying most of these things, but I’ve picked out what I like!
